Preparing for the Eog • Keep a positive attitude. • Read, read, read, read, read every night. • Use question stems to ask your child comprehension type questions to check for understanding.

Testing Day Expectations • Sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep well the night before. • Desks will be cleaned out (empty). • Materials on the walls will be covered up or taken down. • Classroom bathroom break BEFORE and AFTER the test NOT DURING. • Proctors in the room during the test. • Monitors in the hallways. • No talking,, No moving around (Students must stay in their seats). • No noise Nothing that beeps (cell phones, watches, toys, etc.).
After the EOG • We are still teaching/learning after the test is over. • Address gaps to prepare for the end of year CFA • Remediate skills • Retest
