The Emergency Management Institute (EMI) Higher Education Project aims to enhance the emergency management profession by developing comprehensive degree programs and fostering professionalism. This initiative includes endorsements for the IAEM Certification Program, course material development, and a Master Trainer Program. EMI collaborates with various universities to create prototype courses and offers continuing education units (CEUs) for EMI courses. With over 100 existing syllabi, the project supports schools in emergency management education, ultimately striving to improve resilience across communities.
