  2. Long answer questions Some of the questions on the exam paper will test your written communication skills or WCS (how well you can write your answer) as well as your amazing PE knowledge. The questions where you get marks for your written communication skills will always be the longer ones towards the end of the paper and worth 6 marks each. There will be an asterisk (*) next to the question number on questions where your WCS will be tested. You can pick up some easy marks by making sure you do the following things….

  3. Long answer Top Tips • Make sure you answer the question being asked- it’s easy to go off on a tangent. • Make sure you answer is organised. It’s a really good idea to have a think what you’re going to cover in your answer before you start writing it. That way you can make sure you structure your answer well and cover all the points you want to. • Write in full sentences and use the correct spelling, grammar and punctuation. • Use the correct PE terminology. • It will probably ask for examples to back your answer up. Make sure you use as many as possible. 6) The answer should be concluded at the end
