  1. The following power point training presentations must be viewed at unit training and/or under the supervision of an OSRT Officer. Members viewing the presentations must sign a OSRT sign in sheet. The completed sign in sheet must be submitted to the OSRT Planning (Training) Section to receive credit for the training.

  4. WHAT ARE THE RISKS WE ARE TALKING ABOUT? • Medical risks to our members • Safety of our members (physical) • Environmental • Social • Cultural

  5. Who is responsible for submitting a Risk Assessment? • 1) Lead Instructor, Form 14-3, prior to the class date. For any training that involves outside the classroom training. This form is submitted to the OSRT Health and Safety Officer for approval. • 2) Incident Safety Officer, Form 14-4, when functioning as such during an actual deployment or mission. This shall be submitted to the Incident Commander.

  6. Who approves the Risk Assessment? • The Health and Safety Officer approves the Training Risk Assessment. • If the Training Risk Assessment is disapproved by the Health and Safety Officer. The President OSRT or Executive Committee can override the disapproval of the HSO. • The Incident Commander approves the Risk and Assessment for an actual deployment or mission. • The ISO or HSO may stop any situation deemed Immediately Dangerous to Life and Health (IDLH).
