The foundations • Reinforced concrete 8 x 8 inches minimum; • 3 feet deep minimum; • Footing: 2 feet wide and 1 foot high; • Straps to bolt the foundations to the house
The flooring • Beam 4 x 4 or 4 x 6 placed on the edge • Joist on the edge • Straps to reinforce the connection between the elements of the structure
The frame • 4 x 4 in each corner • Up-rights 2 feet apart • Double up-rights around doors and windows • Brace the corners • T Straps on each up-rights top and bottom
The straps • Straps to connect the elements of the structure together (foundations/flooring, flooring/up-right,…)
The boarding up board • Rabbit & Spring all around the frame
The gable roof • Roof with a 30 degree slope • Double top plates • 2 x 8 ridge beam • Rafters 2 feet apart
