Changes to Class Schedule and Presentations

Due to class cancellations on Wednesday and Thursday, we need to speed up our schedule. Please finish your presentations and homework by tomorrow. Looking for GoPost supplements by Friday. Second paper due on the 7th. Consider canceling class for writing workshops. Thoughts?

[same assignment as the first paper, all texts available from Emerson to Danielewski] • Week after. • I am playing with the idea of cancelling class and just holding writing workshops for this week before your papers are due. Now that we are cancelling two days of class, I don’t know. • What do you think?

  3. Presentations. • Quickly – 5 mins Max. • Present your bubble • What is it? • What does it have to do with Famous Men? How is it figured in the book? • What are your three subgroups? • How do they contribute? • What does Famous Men have at stake in your bubble’s discussion? • Take 3mins with your group to organize your talk.

  4. During and after the presentation • As you watch, take some notes on how the topic presented intersects with your topic. How are your two bubbles connected? • Following each talk, we will pause briefly 2 mins] for your groups to share their notes, quickly discuss the bubble connection.
