  1. Petty Cash/Change Fund Authorization Please follow these steps to renew your petty cash or change fund for the new fiscal year

  2. Change funds are used to make change for cash sales during a specific period of time. Petty cash funds are used to reimburse unexpected expenses that an employee made using their personal funds. Transactions are limited to a maximum of $50. Every effort should be made to use the University OneCard instead of using petty cash. Requests for funds exceeding $500 require additional approval.   3. Renew your fund for the new fiscal year by submitting the Petty Cash/Change Fund Authform. In PeopleSoft Financials, navigate to Employee Self-Service and select the form.

  4. Please complete all sections of the form. Instructions are included on the “Attachments” tab.

  5. *Please be sure to update custodians, if necessary. *At least two custodians are required for each fund.*All custodians must complete petty cash and cash handling training.
