  2. Albanian HE reform • Based on Bologna Process and its main documents, constituted the Albanian BFUG dealing with: • Curricula development and standards of teaching, • National Qualification Framework, • Student information and diploma recognition

  3. BFUG decided about Albanian NQF • be based on a European model, already drafted and approved by the authorities of the country, • be drafted by including all 8 European levels considering Albanian particularities and needs, • write university levels together with learning outcomes – Dublin descriptors, • propose an overarching Albanian Frame of Qualifications in cooperation with all country stakeholders.

  4. Actual state of Albanian NQF

Still to be done… • write the final version of Albanian NQF, • be in line with EQF (European Qualification Framework), • enhance teacher education in the country, • propose legal and sub-legal acts to the Albanian authorities to the final approval of it, • respect the European deadline of 2010….
