The Mouth. Mr Mouth. Equipment. You Will Need: 1 Paper Plate 1 Stencil 1 Straw Scissors Glue Coloured Pencils. Step 1. Colour in the stencil. Step 2. Fold paper plate in half Draw and colour lips onto paper plate. Step 3. Cut out the pictures on the stencil. Step 4.

  3. Equipment You Will Need: • 1 Paper Plate • 1 Stencil • 1 Straw • Scissors • Glue • Coloured Pencils

  4. Step 1 • Colour in the stencil

  5. Step 2 • Fold paper plate in half • Draw and colour lips onto paper plate

  6. Step 3 • Cut out the pictures on the stencil

  7. Step 4 • Glue the back of the mouth picture onto the top half of your hand puppet. • Make sure the straight edge is sitting on the fold line as shown in the picture above.

  8. Step 5 • Cut slits in the tabs and fold the tabs behind the teeth

  9. Step 6 • Put glue along the tabs • Stick one line of teethalong the top and the other along the bottom,as shown below.

  10. Step 7 • Fold over the tab on the tongue

  11. Step 8 • Put your hand up and wait for a helper to stick the tongue onto the puppet and poke a hole into the plate

  12. Step 9 • The helper will poke the straw through the plate and attach the tongue to the straw

  13. You are finished! • Clean up any mess and left over equipment • Keep your mouths in a safe place for next week.
