The Work-Based Learning (WBL) initiative, led by Prof. Mark Stiles and Fleur Corfield, aims to support foundation degree students through a collaborative framework involving Staffordshire University, Stoke-on-Trent College, and others. This project produces valuable resources for tutors, employers, and learners, including mentoring, curriculum design, communication skills, and health and safety guidelines. Over 80 learning objects are available, alongside useful handbooks and checklists. The project emphasizes structured guidance for new tutors and includes materials for JORUM and Moodle, enhancing access and quality of educational support.

Feedback • I found this to be useful to work through. There is plenty of structure to it and it sets out quite clearly the process to be followed at various stages.
