CHINTALAPUDI LIFT IRRIGATION SCHEME • Introduction • The Chintalapudi Lift irrigation scheme is envisaged for lifting of 53.50 TMC of flood waters from River Godavari in 90 Days and Irrigates 4.80 Lakh acres as below • 2.00Lakh acres in West Godavari District. • 2.10 Lakh acres in Krishna District under NSLMC. • 0.17 Lakh acres under KovvadaKalva Project in West Godavari District • 0.27 Lakh acres under Yerrakalva Project in West Godavari District • 0.24 Lakh acres under Tammileru Project in West Godavari and Krishna • Districts • Storage of 20.00 TMC in JelleruResevoir • Provides Drinking water facilities and Industrial use in enroute villages

Value : Rs.1202.62Cr; Expenditure: Rs.397.908 • STAGE – I : (i) Pump House yet to started. • (ii) 0.66 Km of pressuremain completed out of 2.85Km • Leading Channel : (i)4.25Km completed out of 13.22Km. 4.20Km in progress. • (ii) 1 Structure completed out of 25 Nos. • STAGE – II : (i) Pump House Concrete up to Pump floor level completed and super structure work is in Progress. • (ii) 2.64 Km of Pressuremain completed out of 3.00 Km. • Main Canal : (i) 26.925Km completed out of 36.000.00Km. • (ii) 25 structures completed and 3 structures are in progress out of • 110 Nos. • STAGE – III : (For Jalleru Reservoir) • (i) Pump House foundation work is in Progress • (ii) 0.37 Km of Pressuremain completed out of 1.40 Km. • Package No.2: • Agency : M/s Gayatri Projects Ltd., Hyderabad • Agt. Value : Rs.497.95Cr; Expenditure: Rs.127.088Cr. • Main Canal : (i) 28.875Km completed out of 32.000.00Km. • (ii) 6 structures are in progress out of 84 Nos. • Total Expenditure: Rs.739.398 Cr. (Works: Rs.545.343Cr; Misc: Rs.0.025Cr; Lands: Rs.194.030Cr.)

CHINTALAPUDI LIFT IRRIGATION SCHEME PHASE-II NEW WORKS : • PUMP HOUSE 1A (STAGE-I): • Total No. of Pumps - 10 Nos. • Each Capacity - 9380 H.P • PUMP HOUSE 2A (STAGE-II): • Total No. of Pumps - 10 Nos. • Each Capacity - 26140 H.P • PUMP HOUSE 3A (STAGE-III) for Jelleru Reservoir: • Total No. of Pumps - 4 Nos. • Each Capacity - 5630 H.P • LINK CANAL (from Km.82.150 to Km.95.000): • Total Length - 12.750 Kms. • No. of Structures - 30 Nos • Vempadu Major Head Reach (from Km.95.000 to Km.106.300): • Total Length - 11.300 Kms. • No. of Structures - 19 Nos
