The Language-Specific Training Project, led by Anne Jones from the Southern Migrant and Refugee Centre and Ahmed Zeed from the New Hope Foundation, aims to engage small ethnic agencies in culturally appropriate training. Over 14 sessions with 186 participants from 12 different communities, this initiative focuses on strengthening relationships and trust within the ethnic sector. The project emphasizes inclusive processes, quality training, and culturally relevant materials, contributing to the well-being of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) clients. Key factors include effective planning, recruitment of suitable trainers, and ongoing evaluation to enhance community engagement.
