  2. Contact Information • If you haven’t checked your contact info sent vial email, please do so and email any corrections.

  3. Brief overview:Spring Itinerary • Passports - scan and or take a picture and email • Don’t wait to get your passport! • Email for information if needed • Travel dates/times: April 4 - 19 • USAirways Dividend Miles or United MileagePlus • Send me your account number when you get one

  4. German Arrival • Wednesday, October 16 at 2:15 p.m. UA4906 • Transportation options • Airport parking • Welcome signs and welcome gifts • Plans for the first night

  5. Host Family Expectations • a bed, bedding and towels (shared OK) • bathroom facilities (shared OK) • breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day • some side excursions on weekends • laundry facilities as needed • work around after school activities/jobs/babysitting • free time evenings/weekends • carpooling as needed • Not expected: spending money

  12. Tuesday Oct. 22 Downtown Buffalo Walking Tour (Germans only) • All meet at KW at 8:15. • Return to KW at 4:00.

Social media and photography awareness form • Do not photograph, share or tag a picture of a teacher/chaperone without his/her express permission. • Do not photograph or share pictures of students in inappropriate situations or in situations that, out of context, could be perceived as inappropriate. • Use your best judgment when sharing of any pictures and social media posting.

  20. School shadow and field trip permission form • Complete form • Have all teachers initial • Return to Mr. Carlino (KE students scan or take a picture and email)

  21. Things to do in Buffalo • Info sheet • ArtVoice Events Calendar • Use Facebook page for idea sharing/event posting Zülpich / Ken-Ton Exchange 2013-2014  • Try to include others, but don’t think that everything has to be for the whole group. • Avoid spending all your time “shopping”

  23. Group Gift • Framed group picture (taken during the exchange) • Volunteer needed to purchase frames, make prints and assemble
