  2. What does God demand? • Matthew 22:37-39 (NIV) 37 Jesus replied: ”‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

  3. What does God demand? • That we love him above all things! • That we love our neighbor as ourselves!

  4. What does God demand? • 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (NIV)13     If I speak in the tonguesof men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,but have not love, I gain nothing.

  5. What does God demand? • That we love him above all things! • That we love our neighbor as ourselves. • That we love with thoughts, words and actions.

  6. How do I react to the 10 Commandments? • 1 John 1:8 (NIV) 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

  7. How do I react to the 10 Commandments? • (James 2:10 NIV) 10For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

  23. Spiritual Breathing • 1 John 1:9 (NIV) 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

  25. Spiritual Breathing • Psalm 112:1 (NIV) 1 Praise the LORD.Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who finds great delight in his commands.
