  5. Community Based Partnerships The Model: • Outreach– Reach Eligible Families Not Currently Claiming Tax Credits • Free Tax Preparation– Preserve the Value of the Tax Credits • Asset Building– Introduce Financial Literacy at Tax Preparation Sites

  6. Outcomes? • In three short years, SPEC has established nearly 80 national partnerships and has worked with communities to build 250 coalitions, representing thousands of local organizations.
