You know you’re a bowel disease suffererwhen… • You have a favorite "Ensure" flavor. • People ask about your guts, before they ask about your family.• You have more photos of your insides that the outsides. • You have a spare pair of underwear in your bag/pocket.• You get directions around the nearest restrooms Thank you all for picking “poop” as your career…LOL

  3. 1986:Stage III rectal cancer-age 30 Surgery, radiation, permanent colostomy “Mrs. Henniger, your husband will most likely be dead in 6 months.” +8 days from DX to surgery + Down for 4 days +11 days in hospital +90 days back to work 2014: Permanent urostomy-age 59 + Up and walking hours after surgery + 5 days in hospital + 7 days back to work Surviving the Cure: ED, Peripheral Neuropathy, Bladder Dysfunction
