  3. MondayApril 6th, 2009 (4/6/2009) WARM UP Time Given: About 1 minute per person What did YOU do on your spring break? Go anywhere that you have never been? See anyone who you normally do not get to see very often? Do anything that you normally wouldn’t get to do? Explain!!!

  4. Mr. Hampton’s Spring Break NO NOTES As many of you know, Mr. Hampton spent most of his spring break moving all of his “crap” from his old, rental house to his newly purchased home. For those that do not know, this is actually the 3rd home I’ve tried to purchase. #1: 4/2 in Hawthorne, FL  Refused to sell. #2: 3/2 in Ocala, FL  Too greedy/did not want to repair 24 year old leaking roof. #3 (THE WINNER): 3/2 in Ocala, FL  Two ex-teachers used to live there and passed away.

  5. Mr. Hampton’s Spring Break NO NOTES I have been watching HGTV (Home and Garden Television) for the past 6 months. I have a lot of ideas on renovation and now I have a house to do them to. My first project: mounting the television above the fireplace.

  11. Things Learned NO NOTES Demoing makes a lot of mess. Re-routing cable through the attic and breathing fiberglass insulation IS NOT HEALTHY. Painting sucks. 42” Plasma televisions are VERY heavy.

  13. Back to Business! NO NOTES Over break, I’ve had plenty of time to think of what works and what does not work. Hence, we have some changes to 4th quarter

  15. 4th Quarter Changes NO NOTES I am creating a new grade for this class that will fall into your CLASSWORK category. It is called “Responsibility Credit.”

  20. The Month of April NO NOTES We will be starting our new novel, “Night.” It will cover World War II and The Holocaust. I’ve you’ve ever studied the Holocaust before and hated it, give me a chance. Many if you hated English before me and now actually find reading tolerable and/or enjoyable. Just trust me…!

  22. Pass out graded notebooks NO NOTES Because I only had 1 day to grade your notebooks, I did not comment in them, but did save comments to my grade book. If you wish to know what your grade was for the notebook, see me after it is returned. I also need volunteers to pass out papers from the 3rd quarter  I’d like submissions for my KUDOS board!
