What is Colorado PTAC? • Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) established by Executive Order 12372, July 1982 • Recognized need to assist businesses in gov’t contracting • Support for increased competition, innovation • Each Program awarded to either a government entity, higher education or a non-profit entity • Award Mechanism – Grant funding through DoD under the Defense Logistics Agency • Nationwide Program - 49 States, 94 total programs 3
