Colitis – non specific. Thickness of single wall should not be greater than 4mm. May still see peristalsis. Transverse view in LIF. Gas and faecal contents often narrow in comparison with wall thickness. MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT LOOKING AT A VESSEL.
