ETMF Working Group Charter • ETMF Working Group objectives: document/analyze existing, “As-Is” state of core business processes required to develop, manage and deliver training curricula, and analyze data to determine duplication, inefficiencies, process improvement opportunities to adjust business practices/rules to maximize IT support resources • Business Opportunity: legacy systems for authoring/developing curricula, managing training resources, students and courses created as stand-alone systems, which, in many cases, do not share information requiring same information to be manually entered multiple times contributing to data entry errors and wasted man-hours of productivity • Goal/Benefit: Maximize efficiencies by aligning legacy systems which support stand-alone processes into an integrated framework designed to effectively develop, manage, and deliver training to the end user – analyze high impact areas along the core value stream – identify 5 to 6 core processes which are target areas of value by making process improvement, reducing duplication, increasing data validity and training productivity • Expected Outcome: list of high value core process/steps that can be improved and of non-value added/nonessential process/steps that can be killed
