How it works and What is it designed to do • 86” height clearance • Washes cars vans and pickup trucks • Vehicle pulls into the bay between the gantry • Red, Green and Yellow lights guide the vehicle to pull in, stop and back up • Vehicle properly positions on the bay plate • Pull to far forward, requested to back up • SGXS moves back and forth over the vehicle completing the desired wash package

Short Bay Kit • With a short bay kit installed there is an additional proximity switch added to the bottom left of the machine, and an additional target mounted on the left track riser near the rear of the track. • When the setup question " Short Bay?" is answered yes, the machine will monitor the additional proximity switch. • When the short bay prox switch is activated during the rearward pass of those parts of the wash cycle that have the arms retracted away from the vehicle (rinse, wax, trifoam, dry, spot free, ), the machine will pause, close the rear arms together behind the vehicle, and continue to the rear. • This gains travel distance to the rear for the amount of difference between rear arms open and rear arms closed. • This kit only makes sense if the machine is installed in a bay that does not allow the minimum clearance from the rear of the track to the nearest obstruction.
