  2. Type of Breakfast • South America breakfast are light. • They do not eat as much as we do. • Where we eat pancakes sausage eggs bacon…. • They will just eat bread!

  3. What the Eat for breakfast! • In south America they will eat… • Bread, Medialunas or Small croissants( sweet or plain), Pan Dulce( sweet bread). • Sometimes they will add butter or jelly on the bread. • Fruit, meat and cheese, and Fruit Juices are usually eaten in Brazil and Chile.

  4. What They Drink for Breakfast. • They usually drink Coffee, Milk, or Tea, Yerba Mate. • A popular drink in Argentina is Submarino, it is a glass of steamed milk with bittersweet chocolate bar melted into it.

  5. Why not more for Breakfasts??? • The Spanish eat less food for breakfast because they eat large lunches and they like to save room. • Sometimes to make up for the small breakfast they eat snacks after breakfast.
