  1. Description • Digital school is an educational movement that use technology to learn and transform the educational practice to promote the students’ integral development . • Its an alliance with Puerto Rico University in Cayey, the Department of Education and Microsoft Partners in Learning.

  2. Description • There are 48 schools of the seven school regions of Puerto Rico • 190 teachers participating in this project

  3. Vision • Integrating technology to the learning process with the purpose of transform the educational practice to promote the students’ integral development and educational environment

  4. Goals • Increase the teachers’ participation to transform their teaching style integrating technology to learning process • Develop in participants teachers the process of knowing, analyzing and adopting pedagogical philosophies and social theories that meet the students needs using technology to the learning process

  5. Goals 3. Develop teacher and family skills in the use of different knowledge with the purpose to develop an holistic learner using technology as a tool.
