  1. Agenda Eurohash bid meeting 2010-09-26 • What we have done so far • Trail areas in Tallinn • Promotion campaign • What remains to be done • Idea – chance to win luxury cabin instead of giving Early-bird discount Main goal: winning bid at Eurohash in the Netherlands in May 2011

  2. What we have done so far: • Homepage www.eurohash.se - Recently updated w prices & contacts • Hashspace group Eurohash 2013 (60+ members) • Flyer – now with backside • Logo • Start of promotion video • Budget @ 200 € per person • Program for the 3 days • Tallinn trip to check trails & pubs • Baltic Queen perfect for what we want! • Several good trail areas • Promotion activities

  3. Trail areas in TallinnAll areas are within 20-30 minutes bus ride from town centre Tallinn Old Town Short ”old-farts” stroll for walkers, up & down the narrow streets of Old Town. Viimsi Partly forest, partly upper-class housing area. Circle at outdoor ”hembygdsmuseum” overlooking Tallinn. Tabasalu Forest recreational area near steep shoreline, overlooking the bay of Tallinn. Big grassy area for circle. Männiku military training camp Old Soviet military training camp, complete with trenches and tank dug-outs. Sandy forest area that also has small lakes (old quarries)

  4. Promotion campaign • Done: - Interhash Kuching - Oslo 1111 - ScandiJock - German Nash Hash • Coming: • Turkish Nash Hash ”On-On-On” • Wineyard Hash - London 2000th • Belgian Nash Hash 2011 • Result: - Very positive response ”Can we sign up now?” • Viking style & shields works very well – you get noticed in any pack • Copenhagen wants to do Red-dress-run pre-lube - Only negative comment ”There is no venue” – but that is the point 

  5. What remains to be done: • Finalize promotion video - ”Grand opening at Stockholm AGPU” • Promotion T-shirts and shields to Eurohash-travellers • Prep-meeting with Eurohash-travellers • Open on-line registration - Both Likk’mm and Toed Bedsores arewilling to help us – difficult choice! • Open Euro bank account • Buy raffle tickets (see next page) • Win the bid! • Plan for Tallinn-week summer 2011

  6. Idea – sell raffle tickets with chance to win luxury cabin on Baltic Queen instead of Early bird discount Rationale: • Our budget is tight – we rather spend money on more beer on-board the Baltic Queen than subsidizing a few hashers • The timing is right – Neptunus had to charge everybody (incl. early birds) 50 € extra to cover costs at Eurohash 2011 About the idea: • Sell raffle ticket for 10 € each at Eurohash 2011. • The 10 € paid is counted as a down-payment if we win • All who buys a ticket are to fill in a simple registration form (hash-name, mail adress). Detailed registration will be on-line. • If we win the bid, three tickets gets drawn in the Sunday circle, three persons win luxury cabins on-board. • Full payment will not be needed until 2012-12-31, so in a way it’s a kind of ”Early bird” (interest discount) • If we loose, raffle ticket profit will cover our bidding costs plus a few beers to ”dränka sorgerna” • How to handle if someone wants to buy more than one raffle ticket?
