2. FPOA Strategic Plan- Mission Statement • It is the mission of the Folmont Property Owners Association (FPOA) to preserve the heritage of the Folmont area while respecting the environment and building a community for its residents. The FPOA is committed to leaving a legacy of community, forests and wildlife for future generations.

3. FPOA Strategic Plan-Goals Enforce the Covenants by: • Overseeing the rules governing architectural design and structure • Overseeing rules concerning timbering activities • Maintaining fair and equitable assessments • Providing an accurate and balanced yearly budget • Maintaining an open and yearly audited account balance • Maintain a policy and procedure manual that is current to the needs of the community and the mission of the FPOA.

4. FPOA Strategic Plan-Goals Communicate with the membership by: • Publishing a newsletter • Maintaining an accurate membership directory • Conducting quarterly Board of Directors Meetings • Conducting an annual membership meeting open to all FPOA Members • Responding promptly and courteously to inquiries from the membership. • The strategic plan will be revisited on a yearly basis.

FPOA Strategic Plan-Goals Foster Volunteerism by: • Recruiting members to serve on the standing committees of architecture, road maintenance, Parks, entrances and recreation and environment • Recruiting and training the next generation of potential board directors • Providing yearly activities such as pothole filling, park cleaning, trail clearing, historical seminars, artistic expressions etc.

6. FPOA Strategic Plan-Goals • Improve the Infrastructure by: • Maintaining and improving the roads • Exploring improvements in electronic information access • Maintaining the Right of Ways • Maintaining the gates and entrance ways

7. FPOA Strategic Plan-Goals • Enhance the recreational opportunities of the Folmont Area by: • Developing the park areas • Maintaining the ponds • Managing the forest • Developing the trails • Providing recreational activities for its membership such as the annual Picnic.

FPOA Strategic Plan-Goals • Protect the Environment by: • Enforcing the applicable covenants concerning land, streams andforest. • Working with local environmental agencies • Reporting violations of environmental laws and regulations • Assisting property owners in the management of the forest areas • Preventing further degradation of water and air resources

FPOA Strategic Plan-Goals • Maintain financial integrity by: • Setting annual assessments to meet the needs of the members of the association. • Maintaining an emergency contingency fund of a minimum of 50% of the annual budget. • Investing wisely and conservatively as described by the covenants

10. Additional Information • Liability Insurance for snow plowing – The Association pays for an additional amount of liability insurance to cover the association to supplementthe insurance carried by the provider. Please understand that this insurance does NOT cover your personal equipment, yourself or damages to property in case of an accident clearing roads in Folmont. There will be no more “Nastygrams” sent. This notice will be posted on the FPOA Website. • Website Usage – 546 Hits from “unique” individuals over the past month ( September 18-October 18)
