  1. Project Breathe Easy… is a national award winning program that supports and educates families that have children with asthma.

  2. Counties Served • Anderson • Calhoun • Charleston • Fairfield • Florence • Greenville • Newberry • Orangeburg • Richland/Lexington • Rockhill (New!)

  3. Services Provided • A home visit is provided to each family. Additional home visits are added if needed • An environmental assessment is done on each home • Each parent is given a mattress and/or pillow encasement • Each family is provided with an asthma educational notebook • Each family receives a total 10 contacts

  4. Other Services Provided • Resource assistance to families • Childcare training to childcare centers called AsthmaManagement for Children • Pediatric staff education • Health fairs • School events • PTA Meetings • Community Awareness Events
