Shows some part of model while still giving and impression of the whole model. Can observe his stance / posture. How he is trying to represent himself. Potent / protective etc. Gazed / Eye contact – Antagonist / model (Andrew Garfield) sustains eye contact with camera (audience) to appeal to them. We catch his gaze which then influences us to carry on reading the magazine Position of text – Text is mainly on the left side of the cover. Easier to see everything if it’s on one side. Nothing is in the way / blocking it. Clear and simple Use of colour – Clever use of red and blue (of the masthead and background) to represent spider-man’s costume. Blends in with the costume.
