  7. Innovation • Cultural, scientific, or technical breakthroughs that impact the way people live and think.

  8. Cultural Diffusion • The spread of cultural expressions across nations, regions, and the world.

  9. Movement • Patterns of migration, exploration, colonization, and imperialism.

  10. Human/Environment Interaction • How people are affected by their environment and how people affect their environment.
