Memory Verse: 2 Timothy 2:20 “20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.” BIBLE PASSAGE:2 Timothy 2:20-26 INTRODUCTION: From creation, God has been using man to deal with man. This is why His only Begotten Son had to come in the flesh to save man. He is still looking for men to honour by using them. You are about to discover how you can be one of such people that God wants to honour. HERE AM I, USE ME (PART 1)

  5. HERE AM I, USE ME (PART 1) Outlines: PURITY IS A REQUIREMENT YOU TOO MUST DO CERTAIN THINGS

  6. Outline 1: • PURITY IS A REQUIREMENT. • A holy God cannot fill unholy vessels. A vessel that God will use for honourable purposes must be clean always. It is important to know such things that can make a vessel impure. They are in three stages: • Lust of the flesh. • Lust of the eyes. • Pride of life. • Most sins fall under one of these three categories e.g. stealing, lying, immoral talks, breach of agreement, bitterness of heart, anger, adultery, fornication, abortion, murder, bribery, idolatry, pride etc. All who do such things cannot be used by God for honourable purposes– James 3:6, Isaiah 59:3, Ezekiel 28:18, Matthew 7:18-23, Isaiah 24:5, Hebrews 12:15, Ephesians 5:3-7. HERE AM I, USE ME (PART 1)

  7. HERE AM I, USE ME (PART 1) • Outline 2: • YOU TOO MUST DO CERTAIN THINGS. • God cannot play your role for you even though He wants to honour you by using you. You must be cleansed from your sins through the blood of Jesus. You must also say no to ungodly thoughts and refuse to defile your body physically and spiritually. God is willing to help you and make you as white as snow if you sincerely come to Him and turn from all sins. The blood of His only Begotten son. Jesus Christ, will cleanse you as though you have never sinned before – Isaiah 1:16, 1 John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 7:1, Jeremiah 4:14, James 4:8, Psalm 51:2, Isaiah 1:18, 1 John 1:7.

  8. HERE AM I, USE ME (PART 1) • CONCLUSION • It is a great privilege to be honoured by reason of use. Moses, Elisha, Paul and others had enjoyed this privilege before. You too can enjoy it. Pray to be a partaker as well.
