  1. How to Make Popcorn Boxes? Classic popcorn boxes can add a touch of nostalgic charm to parties, events, or family movie nights, even if you simply fill them with popcorn made in the microwave. To create these classic red and white boxes, you can print a template, create your own freehand design, or repurpose another box. Customize and decorate the popcorn boxes with different colors, papers, and stickers to make them look even more special.

  2. Use a printable template 1. Choose and print a template. To find a template on the Internet, look for free designs on some blogs or other sites. Download the image and get ready to print it the size you need. 2. Print the design onto card stock. Be sure to use card stock and not plain paper for printing. The card stock is thicker and stronger, which will help the box hold up and stay together. Plain paper for printing will be very fragile and can tear. Make sure to choose a suitable paper based on the size you want the boxes to be. For example, using 8 ½ x 11 inches (22 x 28 cm) paper, you can create small boxes that will be more suitable for children. If you want to make larger boxes, print on sheets that are 23 × 30 cm (9 × 12 inches) or even 28 × 36 cm (11 × 14 inches).

  3. Before printing, make sure the printer can handle the size and weight of the cardstock. Choose the correct print settings in the preferences. The cardstock will be somewhere between 25 and 50 kg (50 and 110 lb). For a unique touch, you can print the design on card stock in a different color, such as light blue or pink. 3. Mark the lines on the template. Use a bone folder or a wheel to mark the paper with which you can mark the lines that you will need to fold when you assemble the box. Be careful not to cut the paper. Make sure to mark the correct side (the side of the printed design) so that you can fold the paper in the correct direction.

  4. 4. Cut out the box with scissors. Carefully cut the edges of the design and make sure not to remove the flaps or tabs. Make the cuts straight so that the box is not asymmetrical. 5. Fold the box. Make the folds on the lines you marked and assemble the box to make sure all the sides fit and match. Check that all the fins are in the correct place. 6. Use glue or tape to stick the sides together with the designated flaps or tabs. The printable design should include some flaps or tabs to join the sides of the box. Locate these additional panels and use tape or non-toxic craft glue to close the box. Make sure to wipe off any excess glue and then let it dry.

  5. Double-sided tape works well for this step too. When gluing or taping, be sure to carefully line up the edges. You can lower the opposite side of the box so that it is flush with the tabletop to make sure you align both pieces correctly. 7. Line the box with wax paper and fill it with the popcorn. The waxed paper will keep the paper from absorbing the butter and oil, so you can reuse the boxes. Fill the box with your favorite flavor popcorn and enjoy! When you're done, discard the used wax paper and line the box the next time you use it. The Custom Box Printing offers Custom Printed Popcorn Boxes, at discountable rates.
