S.T.E.M. is an integrated, experience-based instructional program designed to prepare students to be knowledgeable about technology - its evolution, systems, technologies, utilization, and social and cultural significance. It results in the application of mathematics and science concepts to technological systems in areas such as, but not limited to: construction, manufacturing, communications, transportation, biotechnology, and power and energy.

31. What do we do in Visual Arts Class ? • 8th grade students learn about and create art which has been part of our American heritage, both past and present. Skills in drawing, ceramics and using the elements and principles of design will be increased. • 7th grade is like taking a trip around the world. Students examine and make multicultural art from continents such as Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas, while developing an understanding of the elements of design.
