If you decide to take LMT for 7th Grade here is how your year will go! • You will have LMT for 3 Marking Periods and then Spanish for 1 Marking Period • Each Marking Period will focus on a specific aspect of technology… • At the end of the year you will have more digital projects than you know what to do with!   20. Presentation Tools/ Web 2.0 Tools Students will be introduced to Web 2.0 tools and will create small digital projects using them. Voki, Glogster, Movie Maker, Animoto, Xtranormal, Meograph, Prezi , Voicethread, Wordle, Easel.ly, and more!

  21. Digital Storytelling For MP 2 student will use the skills they acquired during the first Marking Period to show their own creative stories.

  24. S.T.E.M. is an integrated, experience-based instructional program designed to prepare students to be knowledgeable about technology - its evolution, systems, technologies, utilization, and social and cultural significance. It results in the application of mathematics and science concepts to technological systems in areas such as, but not limited to: construction, manufacturing, communications, transportation, biotechnology, and power and energy.

Students are challenged to discover, create, solve problems, and construct solutions by using a variety of tools, machines, computer systems, materials, processes and technological systems. • Students work in both teams and individually, to solve problems related to technology - its evolution, systems, techniques, utilization, and social and cultural significance. • Students are taught how to utilize, interact, and live in a rapidly changing, high technological society.

  31. What do we do in Visual Arts Class ? • 8th grade students learn about and create art which has been part of our American heritage, both past and present. Skills in drawing, ceramics and using the elements and principles of design will be increased. • 7th grade is like taking a trip around the world. Students examine and make multicultural art from continents such as Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas, while developing an understanding of the elements of design.
