  1. Nutrient Gazette Classifieds • This classified section of the newspaper contains want ads for specific forms of nutrients. On your paper write the number and then the nutrient form described in each ad. At the end of the presentation, you will classify each nutrient according to which type it is: CARBOHYDRATE FIBER or PROTEIN (use 2.2 if needed)

  3. Wanted 2 • Type of proteins found in plant sources

  4. Wanted #3 • Sugars removed from plants, processed, and used as sweeteners

  8. Wanted #7 • Plant material that absorbs water and contributes bulk

  9. Wanted #8 • Form of sugar found in milk

  10. Wanted #9 • Plant material that dissolves in water and may lower cholesterol

  11. Wanted #10 • Simple carbohydrates found naturally in fruits, grains, and milk
