Assembly Procedure • Prepare Field Period assembly area • Includes any initial fixture or area setup required prior to starting the assy activities • Can someone at Princeton volunteer to write a paragraph or two saying what activities are planned? Is the planning for this area under a higher wbs? Jim C. Write an ICD? • Receive, Inspect and Prepare VV • Receive and inspect vacuum vessel segment - Can someone at Princeton volunteer to write a paragraph or two saying what activities are planned? Mike Viola. • Attach diagnostics, cooling tubes & insulation to VV period • Mount Vacuum vessel to assy Fixture • Install diagnostics (approx. 30 132/period) TBD • Install cooling tubes • Install insulation • Sub-assembly of Modular Coils • Task involves the mounting and aligning of (3) modular coils to form a coil set [M1, M2, M3].

Assembly Procedure cont’d • Sub-assembly of TF Coils • Task involves assembling together (3) TF coils and structure to form a TF coil set • Look at assy fixtures to determine if the coils can be assembled as shown? • Assemble Modular Coils to Field Period Assembly • Assemble and align right side modular coils to vacuum vessel • Assemble and align left side modular coils to vacuum vessel • Assemble TF Coils to Field Period Assembly • Assemble and align right side TF coils over shell • Assemble and align left side TF coils over shell • Tom Brown – status? • Position and Weld Port Assemblies • Eight ports will be welded to the vacuum vessel

Questions • What is the capacity of the crane? - ? 110 ton big hook 25 ton small hook micro control • What is the hook height? - ? 42’ main hook motorized rotation small hook freely rotates height 42 ft plus • What concepts are existing that you would like us to incorporate? - ? Gross look at assy detail for planning logistics when we need crane etc. • Floor loading? Concrete? – ? 3500 psf lots of penetrations need to put fixtures on a plate or rail. • What is the best way to reserve the conf room at Princeton?
