  4. HOW DO I GET ACCESS TO BISON? • by entering in your browser: bison.saxion.nl • on the intranet via the menu “jump to” => BISON • on the intranet via the link on the tab “Exams” • on the intranet via the tab “Course” => “Course Content”

  5. How do I log in on BISON? Via the BISON log-in screen using your Novell log-in account and Password

  6. BISON has several tabs, the welcome screen is the ‘Today’ tab.

  7. Under ‘Messages’ you will find automatic messages sent by your lecturer on results obtained and changes to your PAP.

  8. Under the tab ‘My Educator’ you will find your PAP and the results you obtained. You can also enrol for exams here.

  9. Via ‘Catalog’ you enter the Saxion catalog. Here you will find information on (parts of) the course, units of study and exams. You can also access this information automatically via your PAP.

  10. On the tab ‘Preferences’ you can consult your personal details. Messages are forwarded automatically to your Saxion mailbox. This option can be turned off.

  11. Enrol yourself here within the enrolment period on the planned activity of your choice!

  12. Consult your resultsvia ‘My pap’ on the tab ‘My Educator’.

  13. Consult the catalog by clicking on the name of an assessment

  14. You will see information on the exam you selected

  15. Via ‘Messages’ you will receive an automatic message from the lecturer as soon as a result has been published.

  16. Change your language settings or your e-mail notices on the tab ‘Preferences’

  17. Choose whether you want to receive the messages in your Saxion mailbox.

  18. Practical information • Enrolling for exams of Saxion minors will continue via CWSIS for the time being. • Results of minors will be entered in both BISON and CWSIS.

  19. What every student should check • Check whether your PAP is correct. If not, go to your SLB’er (personal tutor). • Don’t forget to enrol for exams right away!!!
