  2. First year • Admission test • Start of the first year! • Basic subjects • Specializations: LO, S&B, PMT • PMT • Subjects • Internships • Fun things

  3. Second year (1/3)

  4. Second year (2/3) • Internship – swimming • Individual contact (1 on 1), with kids that have a physical disability. But also adults and children with social disabilities. • You learn to make contact and connect with the child. Learn to arrange and explain instructions and games. • Observation is also important. You observe your classmate (‘buddy’) and give feedback about what you saw.

  5. Second year (3/3) • Internship sportmix • You arrange and teach different sports to children with disabilities. (ADHD, autistic spectrum, etc) • You learn to do this in front of a group instead of only one person. • Again you learn to make contact and connect with the children. Learn to arrange and explain instructions and games.

  6. Third year (1/4) Internship Chantal • Reinier van Arkel group • Children and adolescent psychiatry • Forensic psychiatry • Walking group every thursday

  7. Third year (2/4) Internship Andreas • Sint Antonius hospital Utrecht • General psychiatry: adults • Diagnosis • Crisis intervention

  8. Third year (3/4) Practical lessons • Lessons where students can experience and practice their therapeutic skills. • Interaction between lessons and internship

  9. Third year (4/4) • Theory and practice supporting classes • Theory • Syndromes • Theoretical framework from which we work • Practice supporting classes • SIC (supervision/intervision/coaching)

  10. Fourth year • In general the same setup as third year • Emphasis on research and thesis • Research can be practical or theoretical
