Wallpaper dimensions • Users with a screen resolution of 1024px will be exposed to only 22px each side of this content. • Eyeblaster’s recommendation is that skins should be built to 1600px and creatively optimised to 1280px - i.e. for screen resolutions above 1024px. • For 1280px screen resolutions this recommendation is optimal and serves at least 86% of users http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_display.asp 978 1024 1280 1600 • There is no specification for the wallpaper height but we recommend around 1000px

  4. Optimising the wallpapers messaging • In this case the creative messaging has been built to fit 1280px but the creative design has not exploited the potential of 1600px. Eyeblaster recommends that the full potential and width of the wallpaper be used • The site content on MSN NO/DK/FI is 978px wide. MSN SE site content is 952px wide 978 1024 1280 1600

How to build a Wallpaper ad unit • Log on to www.eyeblasterwiz.com • Navigate to Shortcuts/Create New Ad • In the pop up window define the ad name. ‘Campaign_Name_wallpaper_dimensions’ • Under the ‘Ad Format’ tab select Wallpaper Ad • To define the image file select Wallpaper/Select • If not already uploaded select New/Creative Asset/Add • Browse locally for the image file then select Upload and Save to finish • The wallpaper’s ad ID can be found under the Manage/Ads/Ad ID column

Filtering wallpaper to the user’s screen resolution • It is possible to create multiple wallpaper units and optimise each version to the user’s screen resolution • Manage/Ads/select your ad/Edit/Setup/Filtering: • We recommend clearly naming each ad with the filtered dimensions. • i.e. Campaign_Name_wallpaper_1600px
