  4. This tank weight is equivalent to the empty weight of a water bucket.

  5. EFFICIENT USE OF WATER

  6. The Fire Pig is capable of delivering close to the same water volume as a type 2 helicopter water bucket carries. The water can be directed by ground personnel who will be able to start, stop, and direct the water flow as needed.

  7. The firefighters have had the opportunity to see the fire pig in action and are very excited and anxious to start utilizing the tank.

  17. The water truck will pull a flat bed trailer designed to hold ten units with spares, support equipment, tools, gas containers, spare pumps, etc. Each tank is light enough to be loaded by hand with two people.

  18. Each tank will have a basket for hoses, however the hoses and nozzle will be supplied by the Forestry Service. Each tank must be flown to the requested site by the required helicopter,however any size air craft can sling them back to cargo.
