Low Voltage Power Supply

Our team has made significant strides in the development of our low voltage power supply system. We have rigorously tested and analyzed the system to ensure its functionality. Recently, we successfully completed thermal testing of one of our converters in a vacuum environment. We have ordered parts worth $600 from Digikey and $20 from CablesonDemand. Currently, we are finalizing the schematic and designing the PCB, comparing prices for our 6”x12” board, and preparing for the upcoming coding tasks to enhance our system's capabilities.

  1. Low Voltage Power Supply Molly, Gwyn, Sam, and Eric

  2. What We’ve Done • Tested and analyzed enough of our system to make sure that it will work • Finished thermal testing of one of our converters in a vacuum • Ordered $600 worth of parts from Digikey and $20 from CablesonDemand • Finalized schematic and worked on PCB as fast as possible

  3. Today and Tomorrow • Choose a boardhouse from which to buy our PCB- compare prices for our 6”x12” board • Finish and order PCB! Ship fast. • Work on coding tasks: - Gwyn: testing DAC with PIC code, then testing adjustable voltage control from GUI - Sam: finish up all vendor requests and corresponding PIC code - Molly: GUI- saving HK to a file, implement adjustable voltage settings at a user-controlled rate - Eric: PIC code taking in HK data from MUXs
