Yesterday, the team successfully got the reflow oven operational and prepared for testing. Eric completed the MUX code, ensuring it compiles correctly, while Sam initiated work on a small PCB that includes a PIC, connector, and USB interface. We sourced a competitive price for three 3.8”x2.5” boards at $75 via ExpressPCB. Today, our goals include finishing the small PCB by 11 AM Wednesday for timely delivery and testing both the DAC and MUX code with the hardware. Additionally, we will assess the reflow oven’s performance regarding time, temperature, and suitable solder paste while practicing part placement.

Yesterday • We got the Reflow oven to work- time to test it • Eric wrote MUX code- it compiles • Sam started on little PCB (PIC, connector, USB) • Using ExpressPCB, best price: 3 boards, 3.8”x2.5” each, $75 • Set back a day on large PCB- will arrive Thurs.
Today • Finish little PCB- we want to order by 11am Wed. so that it will arrive Monday or Tuesday • Test DAC code and MUX code with hardware • Test Reflow oven to determine time and temperature, which solder paste • Practice placing parts
