CALCULATING YOUR FINAL GRADE • Your midterm: max. 100 points • Your quiz plus your final: max. 100 points • Your three papers: max. 2 x 25 points + max. 50 points = max. 100 points • All these points will be added up and divided by 3. To that number will be added your max. 4 extra credit points, and penalties for excessive absences will be subtracted. That number will be your preliminary final grade.
