  3. P-16 Council Enhancement Grants • FY 2009 • $787,172 •  17 P-16 Councils • RFP to fund P-16 councils efforts in four areas: • Staff support • Professional development • Data driven decision making • Work with HB 400 (low college-going rate) schools

  4. Evaluation Phases • Phase I – FY 2008 Forward • Process Evaluation • Focus on Outputs (What have you done?) • Number of Council meetings held • Number of outreach activities • Number of stakeholders impacted/involved

Evaluation Phases Phase II – FY 2010 Forward • Impact Evaluation • Focus on Outcomes (What is your impact?) • Increase in college-going rates • Increase in college-completion rates • Focus on Best Practices (How have you done it?) • Identify councils who have had impact • Identify promising practices related to impacts

  14. P-16 Council Outputs P-16 Institutes • 773 people attended 4 Institutes held in August, November, February and June. • People from 17 institutions that were not funded have participated in the Institutes.
