  2. Formation of past participles • The past participle of regular verbs is formed by dropping the infinitive ending and adding –ado or –ido. • El museo más visitado de España es El Prado.

  3. Irregular PP ending in -to El gatomuertoestá en la calle.

  5. If a verb stem ends in a vowel add ído. • Caer-caído • Leer-leído • Traer-traído

  6. Past Participles Used as Adjectives • When a past participle is used as an adjective, it must agree in gender and number with the noun it modifies • Los juguetesrotosestan en la basura. • The broken toys are in the garbage. • Las mujerespintadas son modelas. • The painted ladies are models. • El pescadofritoesdelicioso. • The fried fish is delicious.

  9. Formation of the Present Perfect • The present perfect is formed by the present tense of the verb haber(to have) and a past participle. ✚
