  2. Declarative Sentence A declarative sentence states information. It begins with a capital letter and ends with a period. Ex I had a peace of pie.

  3. Interrogative An interrogative sentence states an idea. It ends with a question mark. Ex Do we have any eggs left?

  4. Imperative An imperative sentence gives an order. It may not have a stated subject and it may end with a period or an exclamation point. Ex GO EAT ALL THE ICE CREM NOW!

  5. Exclamatory An exclamatory sentence shows a great emotion or surprise. It ends with an exclamation point. EX I GOT A NEW BIKE!
