  2. Declarative Sentence A declarative sentence states an idea. It ends with a period(.). Ex: Sea Otters are my favorite animal.

  3. Interrogative Sentence An interrogative sentence asks a question. It ends with a question mark(?). Ex: Where were you on the night of July 24?

  4. Imperative Sentence An imperative sentence gives an order. It ends with a exclamation point (!) or period (.). Ex: Go take out the garbage!

  5. Exclamatory Sentence An exclamatory sentence show great emotion or surprise. It ends with a exclamation point(!) Ex: The bear mauled Ron with great strength!
