Describe a biased and unbiased sample for the survey. • Biased Question: • What type of music would you like played at the dance? • Hip hop • Rap • Rock • Other: Remove Bias: What type of music would you like played at the dance?

  5. Option 3: Read several situations that are already given. Decide if the question or sample is biased. If there is bias, remove it.

  9. Does the sample have bias?If so remove it! • Question: What is your favourite board game? Sample: All the members of the Monopoly Club Bias! Remove Bias: Ask a random group of students who play board games.

  10. Does the sample have bias?If so remove it! • Question: What causes the most stress in junior high? Sample: Grade 9 Boys. Bias! Remove Bias: Ask a random group of junior high students (Boys and girls from grades 7-9)
