  2. Stage Fear is Natural • Stage fear everyone faces. • What is important is how you handle it. • Making yourself aware of certain facts can help you much better.

  3. Strategies to cope • Be better prepared. • Keep in mind that everyone has this. • Only way to get over it is by facing it. • Never try to be unnatural.

  4. How to be better prepared? • Rehearse the ideas, see their logical relationship. • Try to come from conclusion to the argument. • Try to present the core points in two sentences, then in five sentences, then in ten sentences. • You must be able to adjust to the time constraints yet not loose out important points.

  5. Reminding Yourself • Reminding yourself that it is something natural to all. • The causes of fear are: expectation that you will have to do well. Inability to include too many things in limited time. Uncomfortable feeling when too many eyes gaze at you. Eagerness to answer all questions satisfactorily. Bad habit of critically viewing your own performance at the time of performance.

  6. Facing Bravely • No amount of intellectual deliberation can reduce stage fear without going to the stage. • Experiencing is the best way to learn to overcome it. • Make presentation more often, convert every crisis into an opportunity.

  7. Never be Unnatural • Artificiality does not interest many. • You need to internalize the principles and they should sound natural. • Form should not overweigh the content. • Chances are more that you get exposed when you try to behave what you are not. • Meta-message goes through without your knowledge.
