  2. Who We Are . . . • We are a nonprofit organization located in Bath, Ohio • The program opened its doors in January of 1995 • Co-founders: David M. Miller, DVM, Susan J. Miller, M.Ed. and Kimberly A. Gustely, M.S. • We provide therapeutic and recreational horseback riding for disabled children

  3. Fun Activities . . . • Fun Days • Birthdays • Holiday Parties • Riding • Friday Night Activities • Camps

  4. Volunteers . . . • We rely heavily on the support of our numerous volunteers. • Volunteers play a key role with the lessons • They care for the horses, help with fundraisers and spread the word about the program

  5. Volunteers spend quality time one on one with the riders as they assist them getting their horses ready • The relationship that can develop between a rider and their volunteer can be very special • We couldn't function without our amazing volunteers!

  7. Petie the Pony is the only pony in the country certified to make room to room visits at two area children’s hospitals!!!
