  1. Noah and You: What is the Greatest Lesson?

  2. God knows the Righteous?

  3. Gen. 6 5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7 So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” • God knows the Righteous? • The world was in a tragic state in Noah’s day.

  4. Gen. 6 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. 9 This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God. • God knows the Righteous? • The world was in a tragic state in Noah’s day. • God does not fail to see the one striving to do right.

  5. 2 Timothy 3 1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! • God knows the Righteous? • The world was in a tragic state in Noah’s day. • God does not fail to see the one striving to do right. • We too live in a world ravaged by sin.

  6. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” 1 Pet. 3:12 • God knows the Righteous? • The world was in a tragic state in Noah’s day. • God does not fail to see the one striving to do right. • We too live in a world ravaged by sin. • We can be assured that God knows the righteous.

  7. “For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Heb. 6:10-12 • God knows the Righteous? • The world was in a tragic state in Noah’s day. • God does not fail to see the one striving to do right. • We too live in a world ravaged by sin. • We can be assured that God knows the righteous.

And this is how you shall make it: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits. You shall make a window for the ark, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above; and set the door of the ark in its side… • Noah’s endurance of faith? • Noah’s faith led him to obey God and build the ark. • His faith endured the enormity of the task…
