  3. With that in mind, answer on your note taking sheet: • What determines an individual's sexual personal limit? • I'll call on students to report out.

  4. Why is it important to know what your personal sexual limit is? • What might challenge the limits you set?

  5. Limit - Susie will use a latex condom every time she has sex. • Challenge – Susie and Bob have been having sex for a while. Tonight, Bob forgot to bring a condom. • Strategy?

  6. Limit – Chris feels sexual intercourse is only appropriate in marriage. He doesn’t want to do any more than kiss and cuddle. • Challenge – Chris really likes Taylor but knows that she is more experienced sexually than he is. He is worried that she will not be content with his sexual limit. • Strategy?

  7. Five strategies to help you stick to your personal limit • It is imperative that you know and understand that partners and/or situations might pressure you to go beyond your personal limit. It is important to: • Know your personal limit. • Share your personal limit with your partner. • Have a partner with a similar personal limit. • Avoid use of drugs or alcohol that could change your decision making. • Date someone who is a similar age
