  2. Atletico Madrid !! Atleticoand Real Madrid are rival teams in the Madrid Derby. Atleti (Atltico Madrid’s nickname) have a terrible recent record in the Madrid derby, Real Madrid usually come out on top. Under Flores, Atletico won their first European trophy since 1962 when they beat Fulham 2-1 in the Europa League final, and they also reached the final of the Copa del Rey, losing to Sevilla. Gregorio Manzano replaced Flores after an average 2010-11 season but had little success and now former player Diego Simeone is the man in charge.

Sevilles stadium is the EstadioOlimpio de La Cartaja. Seville won there first league title in 1946. Sevilles stadium was in the 1982 FIFA world cup.

The word ‘REAl’ in the clubs name is the spanish term for Royal and was given by the king Alfonso x111 in 1920 together with royal crown in the crest. Real Madrids nickname is Los Blancos.

The first match Valencia played was in Castellon on the 21st of May 1919 . Valencia lost 1-0. The tickets were 25c(very expensive back then!) In 1923 Valencia FC won the Regional championships and could enter the Spanish cup for the first time in their History!
